\nThe series of four appointments in which you are the protagonists continues and today to the question “Can you tell us your running story? How did you start, what motivated you, what motivates you to continue?” answers Roberto.<\/em><\/p>\n

His story, told in his own voice during the live broadcast of Fuorisoglia Live last Wednesday, June 24<\/a>, is a most peculiar story but one in which some can recognize themselves. Maybe not in the three degrees Roberto has but certainly in the hours he chose to run (very early in the morning) and his passion for racing. Yet there is something that makes his testimony unique and compelling: his character and especially his zest for life. One word inspires him and that is “Serenity.” His is a life inspired only by the pursuit and realization of peace and calm. To succeed he says he was very lucky to find the perfect conditions and people in his life, however, one must give him credit for wanting it, pursuing the dream of living in a quiet area, surrounded by greenery and animals, while doing a demanding job with tiring hours.<\/p>\n

Yet Roberto is proof that one can aspire to have and achieve a life full of serenity and good things: he repeats it and shows it with his smile, he puts it into practice every day, training, working, taking care of his home and family.<\/p>\n

In the end, it is a simple story his, and it would even risk going unnoticed if he were not telling it, because his tone of voice and passion are the best proof that simplicity is achieved with effort and dedication, and that it is never about superficiality.<\/p>\n

In short, take this story as a meditation session: close your eyes and listen to Roberto’s voice. Obviously don’t do it if you are running :)<\/p>\n
