Modern children have shoes with LEDs in the heel, and who are we adults not to have something similar? In fact: better! Vixoles are the first electronic sneakers. Or rather: e-sneakers, as their inventors call them. That is, shoes with a heel made of a flexible LED screen that can be programmed with an app to &#8220;broadcast&#8221; what you want to your feet: the picture of your dog (as per the attached video), the writing you want, or whatever you want.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/runlovers.it\/?attachment_id=30388\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-30388\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-30388 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/runlovers.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/Skull54d2b.gif?resize=620%2C261&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"skull54d2b\" width=\"620\" height=\"261\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Messages for those behind you maybe. Or decorative elements that emphasize what you&#8217;re doing since Vixoles also have a built-in motion sensor that allows it to instruct the heel on how to best accompany your exploits. And also an environmental sensor that interacts with the music you listen to.<\/p>\n<h3>3 models<\/h3>\n<p>Like any self-respecting technological thing, Vixoles also come in 3 models, distinguished by performance: the Basic ($150, with a monochrome LED screen), the PLUS ($195, same screen as the Basic and with motion sensors and gyroscope), and the OLED ($300 with a color screen and various sensors), all available in black and white and with 8 hours of battery life given by batteries that recharge wirelessly. The aesthetics leave a lot to be desired and they definitely look stiff. What will a bead made with an LED screen look like then? Mah.<\/p>\n<p>If you want them you can order them on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.indiegogo.com\/projects\/vixole-world-s-first-smart-customizable-e-sneaker-fashion-technology#\/\">Indiegogo<\/a> where they are raising funds to produce them in 2017. They were asking for $30,000 and they are already at 4 times that amount, a sign that maybe they got it right.
