The important thing is to sign up to help raise funds for spinal cord injury research.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"doing-good-while-having-fun\">Doing good while having fun<\/h3>\n<p>The very unique (and mostly fun!) format of Wings For Life doesn&#8217;t change: it&#8217;s a race that lasts as long as you can make it last. Or rather: you leave, and after half an hour a &#8220;catcher car&#8221; leaves, proceeding at a maximum of 20 km\/h. The harder you run, the later you get caught up and then eliminated (when you are overtaken the reader installed on the catcher car reads your chip and disqualifies you). If you run at 6 min\/km in a nutshell around the 11th km you&#8217;ve gotten caught.<br \/>\nThe first three Italian editions have always seen <a href=\"http:\/\/runlovers.it\/2016\/re-giorgio\/\">Giorgio Calcaterra<\/a> triumph, who last year, by the way, managed to win globally after escaping the catcher car for an impressive 88.44 kilometers. And with him will be historical ambassadors such as Giovanni Storti, former Rossoneri captain Massimo Ambrosini, Fiammetta Cicogna, and new ones: Regina Baresi, captain of Inter women&#8217;s team; Beppe Bergomi, former Inter FC champion; Claudio Chiappucci, former Italian cycling champion; and Pietro Aradori, a talent of Pallacanestro Reggiana and the national team.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"sign-up\">Sign up!!!<\/h3>\n<p>You can sign up for Wings For Life online <a href=\"https:\/\/registration.wingsforlifeworldrun.com\/it\/it\/milano\/single#\/participant\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">at this address<\/a>.<br \/>\nThe cost is 35 euros per person. <strong>All proceeds<\/strong> will be donated to the Wings For Life Foundation.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Wings For Life returns: May 7, Milan.
