It has been several months now since the
\n project set up thanks to the support of Dorelan<\/a> <\/em>
\n<\/strong>and the
\n
\n Bologna Marathons<\/a>
\n <\/em>
\n<\/strong> e
\n
\n Florence<\/a>
\n <\/em>
\n<\/strong> has started, and tomorrow, at the starting line of the Emilian Marathon, there will be the first three athletes from our teams (
\n Benedetta<\/strong>
\n<\/em>,
\n Carlotta <\/strong>
\n<\/em>e
\n Louis<\/strong>
\n<\/em>) waiting for the gunshot to sanction the start of the race.<\/p>\n

We asked them a few questions about how the preparation went and what they are expecting from a day that will feature them.<\/p>\n

How did the preparation go?
\n We<\/em>were very professionally supervised by Ivan (Risti, ed.)<\/em>. He often anticipated the answers to our questions, always giving us excellent advice and food for thought: Rated 10! Now let’s see if we will live up to his expectations!<\/p>\n

What was your most critical moment and how did you overcome it?<\/em>
\n I had<\/em>my<\/em>most critical moment this past week, and I hope I overcame it by simply not thinking about
\n what I will have to run on Sunday<\/em>
\n<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Do you think it has changed the way you rest with the ReActive<\/a><\/strong>?<\/em>
\n I was<\/em>honestly<\/em>incredulous. I was already sleeping on a very good mattress. After the first two days of adjustment, I was very satisfied. I definitely sleep better, still the same number of hours but I feel my muscles and back definitely more relaxed in the morning.<\/p>\n

What do you expect from tomorrow’s race?
\n<\/em>The reasons for running a Marathon can be a thousand, but honestly I just hope to enjoy the journey.<\/p>\n

What will you take with you to the finish line?<\/em>
\n
\n The joy of what we have done<\/em>
\n<\/strong>, the feat we have accomplished!<\/p>\n

How did the preparation go?<\/em>
\n It was<\/em> a learning and fun experience<\/strong><\/em>, and the results were not too long in coming. Although the training schedule was seven days a week and sometimes in double sessions, they were never boring. Ivan is really a great coach.<\/p>\n

What was it and how did you overcome the most critical moment?<\/em>
\nFortunately, I did not have any slumps during the preparation; the moments of greatest fatigue always coincided with the unloading time, and this meant that I did not have any stumbles along the way.<\/p>\n

Do you think it has changed the way you rest with ReActive?<\/em>
\nAbsolutely, he really twisted it. The feeling after sleeping there is priceless, regenerated muscles and incredible sleep quality.<\/p>\n

What do you expect from tomorrow’s race?<\/em>
\nTo be honest?I don’t know, the adrenaline is starting to peep, the thoughts are many, the pre-race anxiety is there… What I am sure to find will be the joy of the people with whom I shared the journey and preparation, and the support of the team that never gave up on us for a second.<\/p>\n

What will you take with you to the finish line<\/em>?
\nMy best smile, and the satisfaction of having achieved a new goal set.<\/strong><\/p>\n

How did the preparation go?
\nThe<\/em>preparation went very well, Ivan Risti took care of every detail from the beginning, even when I had to stop together we found alternative workouts to road running.<\/p>\n

What was it and how did you overcome the most critical moment?
\n<\/em>The most critical moment was Stopping for sixteen very long days less than fifty days before the marathon<\/em><\/strong>, but fortunately I was able to get through it thanks to Ivan, who included specific workouts in the plan to get me back in shape to the best of my ability.<\/p>\n

Do you think it has changed the way you rest with ReActive?<\/em>
\nMy way of resting has been disrupted by the Dorelan mattress, I wake up at 5:30 a.m. for work and since the hours of sleep are few (five or six on average) I have always slept poorly and very badly, now even though the hours of sleep are always few thanks to the new mattress I no longer wake up continuously at night and in the morning I am much more rested.<\/p>\n

What do you expect from tomorrow’s race?<\/em>
\nTo fulfill my dream and finally run my first Marathon, I can’t wait!<\/p>\n

What will you take with you to the finish line<\/em>?
\nI will bring
\n One of the best experiences of my life<\/em>
\n<\/strong>, I learned so many things in these four months thanks to Dorelan and Ivan Risti and most of all I met beautiful people!<\/p>\n

It’s been quite a journey so far, now all that’s left to do is to put one foot after the other and walk along
\n these last forty-two thousand one hundred and ninety-five meters, q<\/em>
\n<\/strong>uindi
\n best of luck<\/em>
\n<\/strong> to our girls
