A<\/span>mong hyper-performance shoes, Brooks’ Hyperion Elite have always been the American brand’s go-to proposition for achieving maximum speed. Now in its 4th version, this new iteration confirms the technologies that have made it unique in Brooks’ offerings: carbon fiber plate, nitrogen midsole and an ultra-thin upper. A set of features that, when put like that, make it sound like something out of science fiction.<\/p>\n

Instead, the Brooks Hyperion Elite 4 are real, and behind every name is something very concrete. Let’s get to know him.<\/p>\n

A new carbon plate concept<\/h3>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Innovation can come from the materials themselves but also from how they are produced. For maximum performance, Hyperion Elite 4 use a carbon fiber plate called SpeedVault+ Race. So far so normal, right? Not really, because this is the first plate of its kind made with a process called “Additive Molding” that makes waste materials virtually zero.<\/p>\n

Because speed can also be comfortable<\/h3>\n

Should performance always be achieved by sacrificing comfort? Not necessarily, and with the nitro-infused DNA Flash v2 foam, Brooks has managed to achieve both, and with 10% improved midsole responsiveness, also amplified by the profile with RapidRoll Rocker to propel you even further forward.<\/p>\n

Wear them quickly<\/h3>\n

If you want to run as fast as possible right away, you just have to wear them, and Brooks has thought of that too, optimizing the insertion phase of the foot and building a tight, ultra-light, breathable skin around it.<\/p>\n

The numbers<\/h3>\n

With a stack of 40 mm and a drop (difference between heel and toe) of 8 mm, the Brooks Hyperion Elite 4 confirm an aggressive setting that leads to pushing due to the forward shift of the center of gravity. All contained in a weight of 221 grams, priced at 250 euros<\/a>.<\/p>\n
