Today we host an article by Camilla Castellani<\/strong> that creates a very interesting and fitting parallel between one of our favorite superheroes (Deadpool) and the Olympics.
\nAnd who are we not to grab our popcorn and read with curiosity? <\/em><\/p>\n

\n

  If you also see the world as particularly beautiful these days, well a little bit is because it is but you also need to know that you are under the effect-Paris.
\nWe are in the midst of the Olympic climate and Paris<\/strong> has not yet (or maybe never) stopped reminding you how beautiful it is.
\nBut these days it is truly in splendid shape.
\nA uniform, the one worn by the Ville Lumi\u00e8re<\/strong> from last July 26<\/strong> to next August 11<\/strong>, that constantly enhances and reminds you of the city’s beauty.
\nAmidst applause and a major dose of “hating” – a bit like what happens on the most well-known red carpets – the dress worn by Paris these days has a detail that does not go unnoticed.
\nAnd, it doesn’t have to.
\nIt’s the five Olympic rings<\/strong>.
\nAnd so, their values.
\nThe expressions of the athletes and female athletes we see on TV these days – in addition to lending themselves in a phantasmagorical way to a variety of memes (and, you know it will) – reminds you of the importance of having goals.
\nFrom the very young to the more “mature,” they represent their countries, in some ways becoming true symbols of them.
\nThey take to the field, the track, wear the right shoes, get on a bike or hold a paddle.
\nAnd all this along with efforts, exertions, adrenaline but also the most personal frailties.
\nImagine a weight thrower: how much does he remind you of Thor<\/strong> and his faithful hammer<\/strong>?
\nAnd doesn’t a judogi move, perhaps, faster than Deadpool’s katanas<\/strong>?
\nIn short, room for creativity.
\nBut one thing is certain, everyone and everyone has claws as sharp as Wolverine<\/strong>.
\nAthletes from around the world are the superheroes who, at every Olympics, watch over and protect our cities and even a little bit of our hearts.
\nYou remember the past feat in anticipation, and hope, of seeing something even more epic.
\nYou’ve surely thought, at least once, of revisitingTamberi<\/strong> ‘s jump or Jacobs<\/strong> ‘ 100-meter dash in Tokyo 2020<\/strong>.
\nEvery Olympics is a date with a new chapter in your favorite saga.
\nAnd 2024, if you love sports but have a strong nerd spirit, gives you a very unique astral alignment.
\nExactly two days before the opening of the Paris Olympics, Shawn Levy<\/strong>‘s “Deadpool & Wolverine<\/a>“<\/strong> was released. And for those of you who are fans of the MCU – Marvel Cinematic Universe<\/strong> (because if you have come and read this far it is because you have) this moment has cost you over two years of waiting.
\nExhilarating and nostalgic in its constant parallels between the “old” (or empty), Marvel-Fox<\/strong>, and the “new,” Marvel-Disney<\/strong>, the film not only surprises with cameos and storytelling by Deadpool and Wolverine, but also with the complicity – intentionally veiled in irony and sarcasm – between the two characters.
\nAt least in one scene of the film you either see them as Sandra Mondaini and Raimondo Vianello<\/strong>, or you lie.
\nComplicity that functions as a springboard for exploring themes and emotions throughout the film.
\nDeadpool Wolverine.
\nThe two protagonists, thanks in part to the other characters they interact with, are a team.
\nFortified and sometimes weakened by sporting values.
\nDeadpool and Wolverine, Wade and Logan<\/strong>, the talkative mercenary and the lonely one.
\nExuberance and introspection: two natural and necessary attitudes for those who love and practice sports.
\nThe joy of a victory, of one’s best time, the feeling after the movement on one side.
\nDefeat, getting back up even when one is broken inside and having a bad day on the other.
\nWade and Logan weave their personal stories to the most creative of exasperations: being superheroes<\/strong>.
\nThey are the people who start running, but they are also the athletes, the champions. And that involves being a winner but also being defeated<\/strong>.
\nTwo hours and seven minutes of adventures, special effects and turpiloquy.
\nLots of laughs and a definitely over the top but really cool team spirit.
\nThis odd couple of athletes prove to be tolerant, understanding and inclusive<\/strong>, although they fully embody and respect the history and characteristics of their characters.
\nThey play fair play<\/strong> soiled by traps, special effects, pop choreography from the golden years of the 90s.
\nThey are determined and fully follow theMarvelian sports ethic<\/strong>.
\nThey respect the rules but demand respect and fight for justice.
\nWade and Logan are their own first than Deadpool and Wolverine.
\nThey are upstanding and resilient, even when life brings them face to face with their own demons. The film is a journey in search of redemption and an incentive to seize opportunities and setbacks<\/strong>.
\nAnd in this Deadpool and Wolverine are true champions<\/strong>. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
