Asics has unveiled a newly developed shoe designed for the runner who cares about fun before pure performance.
Looking at the way young people experience movement and running, Asics has designed a shoe that encapsulates the best technologies developed by the Japanese company in recent years to achieve renewed lightness and ease of use.

The design is avowedly Asics in the upper but reserves quite a few novelties in the midsole, which has a profile in the back that features a very pronounced sculpting and an incision in the heel, almost dividing it into two distinct pressure zones.
New, for new runners

Asics told us in a chat that the runner they had in mind when designing it was young or otherwise a type of sportsman who likes to experiment and does more than just run. The result is the Novablasts: shoes that have both a carnelian soul and a sporty one in the broadest sense, since they also love training.
The new generation runner does not only practice one discipline but has a broader concept of the sport and likes to differentiate workouts. For this he needs a shoe with a large latitude of use, so that he can vary workouts without ever having to change it.
Lightness, responsiveness, and lots of jumping power

Asics Novablasts make you want to jump and leap forward already because of their design. In fact, the midsole profile made of FLYTEFOAM™ Blast is inspired by a trampoline and, thanks to its compound, is able to give a soft and responsive feel.
The weight is very low: 275 grams for men and 225 for women, and ASICS’ AHARPLUS™ rubber outsole, with three times the abrasion resistance of traditional ASICS outsoles, allows for more durability and better traction.
Asics Novablasts are available in the best stores and on the Asics website for 140 euros.
