Every product is born from a thought, and the new adidas SL20s have behind them a concept we all know and share: running is a tool for personal improvement and transformation. This is the starting point for the adidas “Faster Than” campaign launching the SL 20. And then it declines in the many different aspects of running always keeping speed at the center of attention.
It then evolves into “Faster Than the Noise” in which running is seen as a means of getting out of daily stress; “Faster Than the Excuses” to increase motivation; “Faster Than Alone” which represents the more social side of our favorite sport and concludes with “Faster Than Expected“: the component of running that makes us better people, able to amaze even ourselves.
These very concepts that exalt speed as a parameter of improvement set the stage for the launch of the adidas SL20 and accompany the
UB20
which, with the ultraboost compound amplify energy return for longer-lasting speed.
SL20: a shoe that enhances the feeling of speed
The new SL20s are aesthetically inspired by the now iconic SL72s and have been taken to the limit by great athletes such as Noah Lyles. Let’s talk about the 200-meter world champion, need we add more? They also feature an all-Lightstrike midsole. This new compound provides ultralight cushioning and promotes a very fast foot transition when rolling.
This new shoe is positioned between the SOLAR and ADIZERO lines. So you can easily see that we are in the presence of a lightweight and responsive product, suitable for all work that improves our speed and to raise our limits-in every aspect of running.
As in all major models from the German brand, there is a Torsion Bar to further aid transition and forward thrust, as well as to provide adequate support during landing.
The upper of the SL20s is stretchy and made without seams to improve comfort. This construction technology also allows the integration of support structures for lateral and linear movements.
You have certainly realized that we are looking at a shoe that is designed to go fast, improve and express ourselves at 100 percent of our ability.
