HOKA ONE ONE has just unveiled.
the new Zinal
, a trail shoe dedicated to shorter distances. Designed to be agile and fast, its lightweight, minimalist upper – made from recycled yarns – is designed with an anatomical tongue that prevents debris from entering.
But it is in the dynamic compartment that HOKA ONE ONE Zinal clearly expresses its characteristics. The midsole, with a 5-mm drop, is in fact the dual-density HOKA PROFLY, with ultralight foam coupled with rubberized EVA and a Vibram Megagrip base with Litebase construction and 4-mm carrarmate that provides maximum traction with minimum weight (242 grams in the male; 199 grams in that female).
The midsole features low-profile cushioning that keeps the foot closer to the ground and uses a more compact material designed to make propulsion efficient. Rounding out the features of a shoe born to be fast, HOKA’s signature Meta-Rocker positioned near the instep to make transition and breakout faster.
The new HOKA ONE ONE Zinal is available from July 1 at a list price of 160 euros (already available for promo purchase).
