TheXTERRA Dolomiti di Brenta Trail, after the hiatus that froze all events in 2020, is back, and, I think, the best way to tell the story is to show the 10 photos taken by Alice Russolo that impressed me the most.
For the record, on the 45km podium, behind Federico Nicolini, winner with 4.42.06, were Patrick Facchini and Christian Modena, in second and third place men, while it was Vittoria Mandelli and Michela Foresti who followed Julia Kessler to the finish line, who won with a new course record: 5.39.00
For the men’s 64km Gabriele Dematté and Michele Marchesoni took second and third place, behind Giovanni Tacchini, who won with 8:02.18.
In fourth place was Jimmy Pellegrini who, leading by more than 15 minutes, unfortunately missed a trail and lost the lead.
Among women, over the 64km distance, the podium consisted of Valentina Michielli, who won with 9:12.25, Giulia Orlandi and Francesca Perrone, in second and third place.
And, as I told you, here they are: they are not the “usual” race photos but are real stories.
