ASICS is launching three new products on the wave of natural running that, from the premises, are intended to be the high-tech for runners and, in line with the philosophy of all other shoes, maintain the high protection qualities needed both for those who grind out dozens of kilometers a week and for those who delight in the ‘art of running only for one’s own physical and mental well-being.
Three models are proposed: Gel-Excel33 (298gr), the lightweight Gel-Volt33 (270gr) and Gel-Hyper33 (290gr). According to the features, the Gel-Excel33 seems slightly more protective and comfortable than the others due to the Personal Heel Fit, which allows an optimal fit around the heel and Achilles tendon.
According to the ASICS website, the features common to all models are:
- Propulsion Trusstic™ for increased propulsion.
- Guidance Line™ along the sole for a more efficient gait. (This is cool!!! Absolutely must try it).
- Dual Density midsole for responsive ground contact feel.
- GEL™ Cushioning to cushion heel strike and improve take-off.
- Fore-Flex Grooves to allow the sole to flex more effectively.
- ASICS High-Abrasion Resistant Rubber for outstanding ground grip and durability.
Personally, the thing that immediately jumped out at me as soon as I saw these shoes was the design…. Simply WOW!!! Finally, good-looking, cool running shoes for both boys and girls!!!!
