“Dash” means running. But “to dash” also means “to tear down, to destroy.” Understand that we are not talking about just any race?
This is the warrior race.
May 19: armies converge on Milan.
The first Italian edition of Warrior Dash will be unleashed next May 19 at Milan’s Idroscalo Park: runners/warriors will compete on a course made of mud, obstacles, sweat and fatigue. And much, much fun.
The Warrior Dash is an epic race that in the United States, where it originated, had more than one million participants in 2012 at its various stages across the country. Now even in Italy you can experience the thrill of running and challenging other warriors, down to the last drop of sweat.
Not only for adults.
Such a race is pure adrenaline and fun. A game for adults but not only: in fact, inside the Idroscalo Park will be organized THE FOOTPRINT BABY WARRIOR curated by L’Orma: a child-friendly mini village with play stations where little ones can try their hand at various activities and games: from handicraft workshops (where they will bring create real “warrior helmets”) to percussion, from art-creative workshops to child makeup. Inside the village there will also be a mini-trail where little warriors can do what their moms and dads will do but on a kid-friendly basis: for example, overcoming 5 obstacles such as barricade jumping, tug-of-war, sack race, rope jumping and overcoming laser beams.
Info.
The race circuit developed over 7 km includes 12 obstacles including a mud passage, long ropes to climb on, and walls of about 2.5 meters to climb over. Alternative tests have been designed for those who will not be able to cope with certain obstacles.
