Athletic Greens: more balance, equilibrium and energy

I discovered
Athletic Greens
before Christmas, before it officially arrived in Italy because a very dear friend posted a picture on Instagram of this supplement, green. He who is vegan and health-conscious was sharing a supplement?
It piqued my curiosity and I immediately went to investigate, which, for me, means reading the labels, nutritional values, composition, and-most importantly-trying on my curious, tired, and stressed-out hide this product to understand what it meant to be a “dietary supplement, created with 75 vitamins, minerals, and ingredients derived from whole foods.”

I confess, in a time of “miracle” drinks, I was quite doubtful about a product that purports to help us on four different àmbits: energy, recovery, immune defense and digestion. Every ingredient and element in Athletic Greens is well explained and makes you realize that there is research and balance in it all, and so I don’t think twice, I order it and start trying it.

The main levers that influenced me in making the decision are two: first, the product comes from 10 years of research and work by doctors, naturopaths and nutritionists; it is not a “beverone” that sometimes promises miracles, quite the contrary. It was born precisely as a support for those who lead a sporty and active life. The second value is Athletic Greens’ ethical approach to its users, seriousness and uncompromising quality.
To put it simply: it is a serious product.

The evidence

I chose the single servings, which, although they cost a bit more, are undoubtedly more convenient: you don’t have to weigh, measure, store in the refrigerator (once opened, the large package should be kept cool to keep the pre-probiotics alive); you wake up, put the sachet in the shaker with cold water, and drink. I have a slow and lazy awakening in the morning so I have to have simple routines.
Initially I mixed it “by hand” but it didn’t totally dissolve, then I figured out the “trick”: you have to put *first* the water, *then* the powder and shake well.

The flavor is “natural” and fresh. This is not the usual vanilla supplement-it is healthy and essential. And after a few days it becomes a good feeling to take it, especially since, to be fully effective, it must be taken in the morning and on an empty stomach.

Beyond these details, I think what matters most is the effect in the medium to long term. Because it is definitely not a product whose “bang” you appreciate in the early days. And in fact I’m here talking to you about it after 3 months of using my “greens.”

My diet has not changed in the last few months and neither has my training load; I still lead the same boring life, in short. The only, substantial, difference is that I now feel much more balanced and poised, energetic, dare I say. It really changes the approach to the days: I feel lighter and more efficient. Even in training. And it’s not that I had an unbalanced diet before, simply now I feel completely balanced. Because perfectly balanced nutrition is by no means easy to achieve; indeed, sometimes it is more autosuggestion than fact. I know it can be hard to understand if you haven’t tried it, but the difference between the “before” and the “after” can be felt very much.
And I won’t hide from you that in this period of forced rest, my “greens” give me a lot of support.

Ultimately

Atheltic Greens is a new, healthy, useful and thoroughly researched product. Of course the price is not cheap but, as in all things, you pay for quality. In this case just over 3 euros per day. And it is worth much more than capuccino and brioche at the café. No doubt.
My advice is.
Try it for a few months and you will feel the difference yourself
: that’s exactly what happened to me.
