They say “make a virtue out of necessity,” and in this spirit Brooks has declined its famous motto “Run Happy” to the changed situation not only in Italy but around the world now.
Since no one can go out running anymore we might as well run happily, but at home. Here comes a new version of the #RunHappy: it’s the #RunHappyAtHome and it’s done… at home!
It’s not just a hashtag
#RunHappyAtHome is a well-defined project by Brooks that takes the form of a community on the go even without the need to step outside the walls of the home. How to participate? Train as you like at home and then post your workout or results on the appropriate page.
Or you can take on challenges that Brooks itself will issue to the community from its Instagram channel. Such as? Run 1k in the kitchen, 10 in the garden, a marathon on the terrace!
By registering and posting your workout you will receive medals to share with your friends to show your commitment to being happy even if you can’t run in the streets. And when it is possible you can turn these milestones into something physical by going to selected outlets to collect the prizes you are entitled to.
Also ask yourself what the Brooks community can do for you
Brooks is not only asking you to share your home workouts with the community but is also coming to you, through its social channels, with the Run Happy Hour, a weekly live event on the official Brooks Running Italia Instagram channel.
Indoor training, nutrition, and more will be discussed with guests and experts who will answer all questions and curiosities that are asked during the live broadcast (and even before and after!).
Want to get more information about the #RunHappyAtHome program? You can find them here and on Brooks’ official Instagram channel.
We all have to stay at home but nothing and no one forbids us to train and do it while also having fun. That’s the Run Happy spirit of Brooks!
