How to train at home?

  • 2 minute read

The most discussed topic these days is “How to succeed in training when you can’t run?” We are housebound and the only walking we can do is in the hallway, if we have it, or in the living room. You risk going crazy and especially losing the form you have acquired after months and months of training.

Yet there is a way to maintain a good tone even in a few square meters: free body training! To help you Elisa Laffi has prepared many workouts that we post twice a week on our Facebook page or Instagram. Then there are the apps that help you do free-body exercises by showing you how to perform them and giving you goals.
In this episode of the podcast we talk mostly about NTC – Nike Training Club and Adidas Training but there are so many, you just have to choose the one that suits you best.

Our advice, regardless of the app you use, is to watch carefully how the instructor/instructor performs the proposed exercise, try it out, and then perform it. And don’t neglect breathing.

In other words, and beyond the undeniable benefit of doing this type of training, take the time and mental energy to focus on two factors:

  • the athletic gesture
  • breathing

Finally, think that you are not doing something that keeps you fit but still you want to run or swim or ride a bike (all said with the pout of the offended one because he can’t do it now): think that are complementary activities to the main ones you love and most importantly will help you do them better.

I leave you to listen to this new episode of Outlaw. You can do this right away using the player below, or you can subscribe using the most common podcast platforms (you can find them all here) and receive notifications whenever a new episode is released.

Happy listening!
