The best answer to a question is always “It depends.” Or “Thank you for the question.” In truth, they are all ploys to stall for time, to have a few extra seconds to search the memory for an intelligent response while Homer’s admonition“Say something smart, say something smart!“.
In this installment, we start precisely with questions, or better yet: how one should ask questions. Those that affect us, which one we place in our heads, thousands of times a day. Because, come to think of it, we start as soon as we wake up to them, even if we don’t interpret them as such: we wonder what to eat for breakfast, how to dress, what to do in the day.
It is said that our brains generate something like 60,000 different thoughts every day. How many do you remember? How many were significant enough to be memorized? Very few.
But let’s start from this very realization: you can’t improve if you don’t ask yourself a question, the simplest question: how can I get better?
It is usually a question that comes after the realization that you lack something, that you need to change something in your life.
After all, we are all searching for the answer to the fundamental question about life, the universe and everything, right?
