The beauty (and the ugliness, although it is a relative and harmless ugliness) of the Web is that you are never sure if what you see or read is true. For example: understood at the direction of I don’t remember who on the playlist “Manuel Agnelli’s Listens” and I don’t know only that it is an official playlist that Spotify asked Manuel Agnelli to compile. But will he really have made it? Knowing the care he takes of his image, I would say yes.
Delving deeper I discover that there is also another playlist that is definitely official (it is from X-Factor) although it is a few years old, also because Agnelli has not been a judge on that show for one or two editions, now I don’t remember well.
Does it matter after all which is official or who did what? Not then much: the taste of the music selection is so eclectic that it can only be Agnellian, so we give them both the benefit of the doubt by doing an additional mesh up: we create a third one that Manuel Agnelli certainly didn’t make but might have made. It is varied, it is strange, it is full of different rhythms and atmospheres, it is definitely in its own timbre and taste.
There are no songs of his, nor of Afterhours: there are only his musical tastes and choices, whether true or alleged (but plausible).
After all, this is the Net and these are the current times: one is not sure of anything except the goodness of good music.
Good listening.
