“Outliers,” the Runlovers podcast, is born

We are more or less all familiar with the concept of “off-limits.” Simplifying a lot, it is that part of training where we totally step out of our comfort zone to go a little further and improve in performance. And it is precisely this concept of improvement that is-and has always been-at the heart of what we do here on Runlovers: trying to broaden views, to see running as an experience that not only improves us athletically but also humanly, in our everyday lives.

With Martino, we often discussed podcasts (he is a big fan of them) but, in the end, we always found ourselves having long chats that started from running and went everywhere. And I mean literally everywhere.

Hence the idea of doing a podcast that talks about “running and beyond.” May it be helpful to become better runners but also to broaden our horizons in a broader sense. In all respects, but always respecting our way of communication: light, easy, fun and a little “goofy.”

For all these reasons, we called our podcast “Outliers.”

Outlaw comes out every Wednesday at dawn for now. I say “for now” because there will also be special episodes, live streaming, and nothing detracts from the fact that it may become a more frequent occurrence. If you like it and feel like it, let us know!

We will host many friends, talk about many things related to running, and make even more digressions. Above all, it will be fun to spend some time together!

Nice, I like it, but where do I listen to it?

Listening to a podcast is one of the easiest things in the world (and it’s free). Just follow it and download the episodes, and then you can listen to it anywhere. In some cases you can also turn on notifications and automatic downloads as soon as a new episode comes out. I mean, it’s really cool and you can enjoy the episodes-which last between 30 and 40 minutes-wherever you want: in the car, on public transportation, while walking, during a romantic evening or while running.

For now you can find us on:

(just click the links to go directly to the Fuorisoglia pages, then just hit “Follow” and you’re done). Or, if you are in a great deal of hurry and curiosity, you can also use the player below.

What else to say? Never more than in this case is it apt to say “talk to you soon!”
(And let us know what you think!)
