Let’s not hide behind a finger: a great many of us have started running to keep fit or to lose a few pounds accumulated during the winter. And then we forgot why we had started running, because running is so good that it overshadows the fact that it makes you lose pounds.
An episode of Outliers on how to lose weight by running was due, though. So here we are, with the twelfth installment talking about just that.
It’s fair to say right now that a few extra pounds doesn’t hurt, and all our advice is mainly related to acquiring good habits-whether sports, food or mental. Whereas, if you want to go on a “serious” diet, the only correct approach is to turn to dieticians or nutritionists who–based on your characteristics and habits–will know how to give you the solution best suited to your needs. Above all, it is important to be wary of miracle products or diets made “for everyone.” Listen to uncle!
