On has recently launched its new Cloudsurfer (here in the women’s version) and it is not easy to describe it in a few words, because the new features are many and all important.
But let’s start at the beginning, with the technical data.
The new On Cloudsurfer is a neutral shoe for everyday training, very cushioned, with a 10mm drop and a weight of 245 grams for the men’s version and 205 grams for the women’s version. Yes, you read that right, they are extremely lightweight.

The new Cloudsurfer is a shoe that can accompany you on long workouts, everyday runs and even when your workouts gets more intense. Because lightness and smooth transitions are essential, even when you are doing intervals or quality workouts.
It’s important to note that lightness does not mean lack of protection. In fact, the weight reduction comes from the special shape of the midsole and the choice of materials for the upper: designed to breathe even on hot summer days.
And support is where you need it. A special lateral support system protects the midfoot, while the shell is designed to keep the heel in line.

A focus on the environment
From an environmental point of view, the new Cloudsurfer have two very important advantages.
The first is the Dope-Dyeing process, which saves 90% of the water used in the dyeing process. In addition, 30% of the materials come from recycled sources, and plastic trim has been eliminated.
