  • For high performance, the Spectur 2 offers energy and stability with energyFOAM midsole and energyBLADE plate, also suitable for intense races, and for training and long runs there is the Bliss 2

For more than 30 years, Salomonhas been the brand whose shoes accompany athletes on all kinds of outdoor adventures.
From the mountains to the road, the French brand has always been a reference, and the vision for the Fall/Winter 2024-25 collection is clear and innovative: to aim for the convergence of road and dirt with models that protect while not sacrificing versatility.
Concepts that have a well-defined expression that originates in the bike world, where “gravel” indicates a particular category capable of tackling normal roads but also dirt roads.
Or, as Salomon puts it, “GRVL.”

Versatility: DRX Defy GRVL and DRX Defy

Salomon DRX Defy GRVL
We said: versatility.
The GRVL line is designed for those who are not content with running only on asphalt.
If you love to vary your routes, going from city streets to dirt trails, these shoes are made just for you.
Let’s start with the DRX Defy GRVL, that is, a perfect mix of innovation and adventure.
Thanks to itsGRIP-counting outsole and 2.5 mm lugs, it doesn’t matter if you’re running on a paved road or a gravel path: grip is always guaranteed.
Instead, the Energy Foam compound gives you the boost, which also provides cushioning that makes you feel like you’re bouncing, while keeping you on track is the activeCHASSIS system that channels your body’s movements, leaving you only to enjoy the ride.
Kind of like an assisted ride ;)
Salomon DRX Defy
Similar to the DRX Defy GRVL but without the gravel tread, the DRX Defy is the shoe for frequent training, very cushioned and responsive and equipped with the activeCHASSIS system to guide your stride. Specifications – Drop: 8 mm (34 mm at heel and 26 mm at toe), weight: 239 g – Price: 140 euros (both models)

For those who love urban adventure

Salomon Bliss 2
If, on the other hand, you are less accustomed to dirt and prefer to run in the city or on well-trodden roads, Salomon has not forgotten you.
The evolution of the DRX Bliss, now up to version 2, offers exceptional comfort with an even more cushioned midsole and a new e-mesh upper with reduced overlays so it promotes breathability.
It’s a perfect shoe for everyday workouts, whether you’re preparing for your first marathon or just want to improve your personal best. Specifications – Drop: 8 mm (34 mm at the heel and 26 mm at the toe), weight: 266 g.
/ 232 g for the women’s version – Price: 160 euros.

For the performance

Salomon Spectur 2
For those looking for the ultimate in performance, however, there is the Spectur 2, a training shoe also designed for racing.
The energyFOAM midsole and fiberglass energyBLADE plate charge every stride with energy, allowing you to always push hard, even during the most intense interval training.
Stability then is provided by a wide heel platform that will make you feel secure in every situation. Specifications – Drop: 8 mm (38 mm at the heel and 30 mm at the toe), weight: 250 g – Price: 180 euros.
