And it’s doing so with A-Type, a new line that reimagines its most iconic pieces as true luxury items, crafted from premium materials. Think classic Superstars and the legendary Firebird tracksuit—but now in ultra-luxe versions.
What kind of luxury? We’re talking about Italian craftsmanship at its finest. The Superstar Made in Italy features cashmere laces, silver details, and a price tag of €800. Then there’s the Firebird leather tracksuit, an elevated take on the ’80s classic, priced at €1,500, while bags and accessories push even higher, reaching €2,000.
From premium to pure luxury
didas has flirted with luxury before, teaming up with Gucci, Prada, Balenciaga, and Rick Owens for exclusive collaborations. But with A-Type, the brand is stepping into the high-end game on its own terms.
Unveiled at New York Fashion Week, this collection marks Adidas’ official entry into the entry-luxury segment. Each piece is crafted from top-tier materials with expert tailoring. Some standout items include:

An exclusive launch
For now, Adidas is keeping things exclusive. The official launch date is still under wraps, and early access is reserved for “friends of the brand”—including rapper Pusha T, model Paloma Elsesser, and skater Tyshawn Jones, who all appear in the collection’s official lookbook.
